- Scoop out the flesh from a pumpkin, discard the seeds.
- Chop up the flesh and steam, bake or boil till soft.
- Mash with some butter and seasoning.
- Arrange the mash on the plate in a pumpkin shape.
- Loosely flake the fish or cut into pumpkin eyes, nose and mouth.
- Arrange on the pumpkin.
- Garnish with a sage leaf at the top.
