Miniature Fish Pies by Chef_Jak

Serves: 6

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup cold water prawns
  • 1 chopped kipper fillet
  • 1 jar mussels
  • 1 tub of crab meat
  • 1 200ml tub full fat cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives & chervil or dill
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Cracked pepper
  • Salt & pepper
  • 2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
  1. Into a bowl, place all the drained fish if you have any other types of fish e.g. sole, haddock, coley, then cook that lightly and break it up into the bowl too
  2. In a separate bowl beat the cream cheese, lemon zest, some pepper and chopped herbs, loosen slightly with some milk then fold into the fish mixture
  3. Spoon mixture evenly between 6 ramekins or coffee cups
  4. Mix any zest left over with herbs pepper & breadcrumbs
  5. Spoon generously over the top of the fish mix
  6. Bake in a hot oven until golden brown & bubbling these simple wee fish pies make for a tasty treat in between snowball fights as a wintery warming snack
