In this chilly weather sometimes there is nothing better than coming home to a bowl of comforting hot soup with some crusty bread. Just the thought of it has my mouth-watering. At Fish is the Dish towers we have got quite the selection of soup recipes, from chowder to Cullen skink, from Tom Yum to hot and sour. We have got it all covered!

Soups can be so versatile. Lunch, dinner, starter or main, you can have them whenever you like and they contain so many beneficial nutrients!

Lidls King Prawn Pho

To start off with something unusual, what about Lidl’s king prawn pho? It’s low in fat and full of vegetables and fresh herbs. It’s an ideal way of getting your two-a-week and one of your five-a-day.

This brown crab and tomato soup recipe couldn’t be easier to make and if you’re in a rush, it takes under 20 minutes to make. It’s also perfect for freezing. No excuse for spending money on your usual sarnies.

This Tom Yum mackerel soup is a great one if you like to flex your foodie muscles. It’s definitely a Thai favourite of ours and we love that it contains so much mackerel. Did you know that mackerel is number one in our omega 3 chart?

We couldn’t write about soup and miss out the most famous of all - Cullen Skink. This Scottish favourite is so hearty and filling that you won’t need to eat for hours!
