Diwali is the five-day festival of lights, celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Janis across the world. It is celebrated to honour Rama-chandra, the seventh avatar (incarnation of the god Vishnu).
The festival celebrates new beginnings and the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness. During the festival, people light up their houses and shops as well as swop gifts.
As part of the festival a feast is held and we thought this would be a great opportunity to share some mouth-watering seafood dishes.
One of our favourite curries at Fish is the Dish towers is our curry prawn pilau. All you need to do is pop everything into a slow cooker and then you are free to celebrate the rest of the day’s festivities with fireworks, prayers and decorating the home.
Our tuna samosas are so easy to create and perfect for an appetiser or side dish. With some feta cheese, the dish could not be more scrumptious!
