Sardine Nachos

The method

  1. Preheat the grill. On the hob, heat the sardines over a medium heat, adding the chilli sauce, chilli flakes, garlic and half the lime juice, gently stirring through.
  2. Arrange the tortilla chips on a baking tray, making a slight dent in the middle. Spoon over the sardine mixture, then top with cheese.
  3. Grill until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
  4. Serve with the sour cream, red onion, avocado, coriander and a squeeze of lime juice.
