- Cook the linguine according to packet instructions.
- Whilst the pasta is cooking, mix the tomatoes with the onions, olives, chilli, lemon zest and basil.
- Heat the sardines in a pan.
- Drain the pasta, returning it to the pan, tossing it well with the tomato mixture. Add the sardines in chunky pieces.
- Season with lemon juice, pepper and the sardine oil.
