It’s important to keep our immune system in tip-top shape if we want to stay well. Good news then that fish is loaded with nutrients that support the immune system to work normally. These nutrients include iron, zinc, copper, selenium and vitamins A, B6, B12 and D, as well as folate. Most fish, including white, oily and shellfish, is an excellent source of vitamin B12 and selenium but varying the choices you eat will give you the widest range of nutrients.
