EPA
Eicosapentanoic acid or EPA is a long-chain omega-3 fat that occurs naturally in oily fish such as mackerel, salmon, pilchards, sardines, trout, kippers, herring and fresh tuna. When combined with another long-chain omega-3 fat called docosaheaxanoic acid or DHA, it helps the heart to work normally and maintains normal blood pressure and blood triglyceride levels (a type of fat found in the blood).
