Be amazed with your microwave
Microwaves are fantastic for cooking fish quickly, you can poach a salmon fillet in under 3 mins so it’s fast food that is good for you.
Always remember to cover the seafood with a lid or microwaveable food wrap and, to get even cooking, arrange the thickest parts of the fish towards the edges of the dish; fold the tail pieces underneath as these will be thinner and you’ll end up over cooking these. If you are worried about cooking in the microwave you can always check on it easily.
Remember from your science school lessons your seafood will be cooking for a few minutes after it comes out of the heat so just try and refrain yourself from tucking in too quickly. We recommend to leave to stand for around 2-3 minutes before serving.
