What it goes with
Fish is best when accompanied by the right flavourings, sauces, side dishes and so on. Here's some help on what will compliment your dish to make it extra tasty.

- Boil-in-the-bag seafood with parsley or mushroom sauce makes a tasty filling for a jacket potato. Add grated cheese for an extra flavour boost.
- Max your tuna mayo – mix together mashed-up smoked mackerel, sweetcorn, some chopped coriander and a liberal dollop of mango chutney. It’s a winner for baked potatoes and sandwich fillings.
- Buy supermarket own-label smoked salmon off-cuts and mix them with crème fraîche, some chopped chives and a good grainy mustard for another great baked potato filling.
Spreads and patés
