  • Fish is the Dish has been educating people across the UK about the health benefits of eating fish for over a year now, and we're delighted to announce that after months of hard work, our Healthy Happy Hearts Challenge is finally complete and ready to go!

    For the next 6 weeks, Fish is the Dish will be working with a UK family who will be following our special programme designed by experts in a bid to improve their health and well-being. We will be monitoring our family closely, with regular updates on their progress. At the end of the challenge, we'll produce a report that we hope will show how eating fish just twice a week has had a positive effect on their health.

Research has shown that eating fish just twice a week can help raise levels of omega-3 in the body, a 'good' fat that is essential to our diets. Omega-3 has been associated with brain development, joint function, healthy skin and eyes as well as better mental health. It is even believed to significantly reduce the chances of developing conditions such as cancer and heart disease. From healthy hearts to healthy minds, everyone can benefit from increasing their omega-3 intake.
